Tijuana, México, December 12th, 2023 — Confie, the largest personal lines insurance distributor in the U.S., announced its Shared Service Center in Tijuana, Seguros Confie, recently donated books and other materials to the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) Libraries for hospitalized children and adults.
The mission of IMSS Libraries is to enhance reading and entertainment options for those in need. Seguros Confie employees came together to donate 55 books, a Nintendo Wii, and 52 movies and video games. The Seguros Confie team presented the donation on Tuesday, December 12 to Belén Rodríguez and Bari Enriquez – who represent IMSS’s Institutional Linkage Program in Baja California.
“We are thankful for the generosity of Seguros Confie,” said Ms. Rodríguez. “This donation will undoubtedly benefit our library users and partnerships like these contribute significantly to the enrichment of our community spaces.” Seguros Confie has an active and dedicated employee-based program with a mission to support local charities and organizations.
