As part of its ongoing commitment to community engagement, Confie employees recently participated in a volunteer initiative at Santa Fe Park in Tijuana, helping refresh and improve the public space through cleanup, landscaping, and restoration activities.
The initiative took place at Santa Fe Park, a public space adopted by Confie as part of its Social Responsibility Program. Employees from different departments came together with a shared goal: helping improve a community space and contributing to a cleaner, more welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
Throughout the day, volunteers participated in a variety of activities designed to restore and beautify the park. Efforts included collecting litter, maintaining and improving green areas, and repainting seating and recreational spaces to help create a cleaner and more welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
One of the highlights of the event was a special visit from the Xolo Mayor, the well-known mascot and community representative of Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente (Xolos). As part of Confie’s strong alliance with the organization, the Xolo Mayor spent time with volunteers, posed for photos, and recognized their dedication to supporting the community.
The visit brought additional energy and excitement to the event while reinforcing the shared values of community involvement and social responsibility. It also created memorable moments for volunteers who came together with a common goal of making a positive impact.
Through initiatives like the Santa Fe Park cleanup, Confie continues to encourage employee volunteerism and support projects that contribute to the well-being of local communities. These efforts reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to creating meaningful and lasting impact beyond the workplace.
